How It Works

Enable meeting recording in your settings at chat.lindy.ai. Look for Meeting recording in the settings panel. Once enabled:
  1. Lindy joins automatically: no need to invite a bot or share a link. Lindy shows up to your meetings based on your calendar.
  2. Records and transcribes: Lindy captures the full conversation.
  3. Summarizes and delivers: after the meeting, Lindy generates a structured summary and sends it to your inbox with a link to the full recording and transcript.

Which Meetings Lindy Joins

You control which meetings Lindy records:
  • All meetings: Lindy joins everything on your calendar
  • External only: record client and prospect calls, skip internal syncs
  • Specific meetings: choose exactly which meetings to record

Summary Structure

Lindy’s meeting summaries follow a clear structure that you can customize:
  • High-level summary: max 3 bullet points with bolded key words and phrases
  • Detailed summary: in-depth bullet points covering the full discussion
  • Action items: who needs to do what, with clear ownership
  • Link to recording: direct link to the full transcript and recording

You can edit the Summarization Instructions in your settings to match your preferred format, tone, and level of detail.

Your Meetings, Always Searchable

Every meeting is saved to your Lindy dashboard with the full transcript, recording, and summary. You can search across all your meetings by keyword, person, or topic. You can also ask Lindy about any past meeting in plain language. Text Lindy something like “What did we decide in last week’s meeting with Sarah?” and Lindy pulls up the relevant notes instantly.
