In this guide, you’ll learn how to set up and run a Lindy workspace for your team.

Lindy for Teams

Lindy for Teams lets you invite people to your workspace and share billing across the team. Each member runs their own Lindy on a Plus, Pro, or Max plan, billed centrally to the workspace.

Inviting Members

To invite someone new, click your workspace name in the top-left. Just below your name, choose Invite a member. In the invite dialog you can:
  • Enter one or more email addresses (separate multiple emails with spaces)
  • Pick a role: Member or Admin
  • Pick a plan: Plus, Pro, or Max
  • Click Send invite
As soon as you invite someone, their plan is added to the workspace and your workspace credits increase to reflect the additional plan. Your existing members and permissions stay the same.

Workspace Settings

To manage settings, click your workspace name in the top-left → Settings. The settings page has three tabs under Workspace:
  • Settings — workspace name, URL, and logo
  • Billing — payment method, subscription, and team spend
  • Members and Groups — add members, modify roles, and set credit allocations per teammate

Roles and Permissions

There are three workspace roles:
  • Owner: Full control over the workspace — manage the payment method, change settings, transfer ownership, and delete the workspace
  • Admin: Manage team members, the subscription, and spend allocation — cannot delete the workspace or transfer ownership
  • Member: Standard workspace access — cannot manage billing or team settings

Allocating Credits

Admins and owners can set credit limits for each teammate, capping how many credits they can use each month. Manage allocations in Workspace name → Settings → Members and Groups.
We can only stop credit usage after the limit has been exceeded, not at the exact threshold. For example, if a teammate’s limit is 100 credits and they’ve used 90, a task that costs 50 credits will still run to completion — but no further credit usage will be allowed afterward.

Transferring Workspace Ownership

Owners are the only ones who can manage the payment method, change the workspace name and logo, and delete the workspace. Owners can transfer ownership by clicking the role dropdown next to a member’s or admin’s name and changing their role to Owner.

If the workspace owner leaves the workspace, they’ll be asked to transfer ownership to a new owner first.

Leaving a Workspace

You can leave a workspace by clicking the menu next to a workspace in the top-left dropdown.
